My name is Olena, but every student knows me as Miss Helen. I was born and raised in Ukraine and graduated from Wroclaw State University in 2016 with a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Pedagogy. I have been working as a teacher since 2014, and in my work with children, I am inspired to help them experience the world around them through their senses. I treat every day at work as a new adventure from which I learn and grow together with the kids.
I am extremely happy to be a teacher at Young Leaders Early Education Academy (YLEEA), as working with kindergarten students is hugely rewarding for me due to their refreshing view of the world. I have also become a Positive Discipline educator and am intensely involved in creating workshops for parents and teachers on the Froebelian Approach to education and Positive Discipline in child-rearing. Additionally, I seek further improvement in my knowledge of children’s social skills training. I always like to think that
“to be successful in anything, you have to have a passion for it, and that leads to being dedicated and enthusiastic.”
